The fungal assemblages hidden in a decomposing rutabaga reveals the true beauty of mundanitty, of the unnoticed, ultimately of life.

It may seem it is a tree, a planet, a mountain, a crochet pattern, a head, an island, a secret, a form of sea life, a cave, a moon volcano, an old forrest, a “Lord of the Rings” background scene.

It is no right or wrong answer. It is any or all of these, as they are all alive.
